The Holy Prophet (pbuh) said: " One who guides towards ( an act of ) goodness is like one who (actually) performed it." Imam Ali (pbuh) said: "Honesty will guide you to goodness & goodness will invite you to Heaven. As long as you tell the truth, no lies will be left in your heart & you will be known as an honest person near God." On Honesty, Forgetting People's Faults and Forbidding Gossipping.
